The European Journal of Cancer (EJC), the official journal of the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC), the European CanCer Organisation (ECCO), the European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) and the European Society of Breast Cancer Specialists (EUSOMA), is an international multidisciplinary oncology journal which publishes Original Research articles, Review articles, Editorials and Letters to the Editor on basic science and preclinical cancer research, translational oncology, clinical oncology, and epidemiology and prevention. Under the leadership of Editor-in-Chief Alexander M.M. Eggermont (Institut Gustave Roussy, France), the journal is guided by a team of Editors who are internationally recognized experts in their fields.
Circulation and readership
The EJC is published in print, online and has its own iPad application. More than 10 000 institutions and individuals around the world have access either in print or online. Over the last 12 months, 1.2 million articles have been downloaded from the journal.
