Horizon 2020 and the future of European research: EORTC-EAPM Roundtable
October 17, 2013
Venue: European Parliament, Brussels, Belgium
The results of a multi-stakeholder conference hosted by EAPM and the Irish Presidency, i.e. 10 key recommendations on how to make the dream of personalized medicine come true, are being discussed with policy and decision makers in a series of workshops with the objective of defining the most pragmatic implementation pathway.
This session seeks to showcase what the EORTC believes should be the main focus with a specific view on recent efforts to ensure a science-driven prioritization mechanism for clinical research infrastructure in the forthcoming EU research programme: Horizon 2020. Please see attached the agenda.
Discussion will provide insight into the EU policy making process, in particular Horizon 2020, and speakers will be asked to participate in a discussion about how the Clinical Research community can work together to make the most of these opportunities.
