About us

The EORTC Early Career Investigators (ECI) platform is organized by a group of passionate people at the beginning of their scientific career, who wish to improve their research skills and actively take part in research studies supported by the EORTC.

The EORTC ECI platform promotes a spirit of a high level research studies amont young people and encourages them to develop their own research project. Our goal is to support the careers of young people devoted to cancer research.

The EORTC ECI platform was founded in 2011 during the Meeting of the Advisory Board of the EORTC with ECIs.

The EORTC ECI platform is under the patronage of Roger Stupp, EORTC President and Jan Boegarts, Vice-Director of EORTC Headquarters.
