Fellowship for Medical and TRI department
The fellowship program is a multidisciplinary program offering the opportunity to be trained in clinical research in Europe. Depending on their background, fellows will be allocated to medical, translational research or biobanking activities. Fellows will be exposed to full range of trainings, all of which tended to reinforce and solidify their knowledge in clinical research.
Main aims and tasks
The selected candidate will receive training in the methodology of cancer clinical and translational research using data from EORTC databases. He/she will also gain valuable hands-on experience writing, performing and managing drug development clinical trials of his/her own with direct supervision and support from EORTC headquarters staff, as well as members of the EORTC disease/specialty oriented
groups. No contact with patients will be made.
- be a maximum of 35 years old at the time of the submission;
- have an MD or PhD degree with experience in oncology;
- be computer literate and fluent in English;
- be able to demonstrate how the experience gained during the training program will be put to use upon return to home institution;
