Clinical Trial Statistics for Non Statisticians
June 13, 2016 - June 16, 2016
Venue: Brussels, Belgium
Develop the statistical knowledge and critical thinking required to better understand today’s cancer research! This EORTC course is aimed at nonstatisticians or junior statisticians working in clinical research. Avoiding technical jargon, it provides an introduction to the statistics and methodology useful for the design, conduct and analysis of cancer clinical trials. Attendees will also learn the keys to a critical appraisal of research reports.
For attendees without a basic training in statistics, an optional half day introductory course to probability and statistics (random variables, probability distributions, estimation, hypothesis testing) is organized the day before the course.
