The Junior Contract Officer works under the supervision of the Head of Contracts Department; with support from the Contract and Legal Officers.
The Junior Contract Officer is responsible for the administration of contracts with external partners, including primarily clinical sites across Europe, within the framework of EORTC projects.
Main responsibilities / Major Activities
The Junior Contract Officer provides administrative support to the Contracts’ team and Legal Officers:
- Manages the administration of contracts (and amendments) with partners (mainly hospitals), in compliance with EORTC processes and policies.
- Follows-up on the finalization and signature process of contracts; and ensure appropriate filing and dissemination.
- Maintains close interaction with EORTC operational study teams and external counterparts.
- Contributes to the development and improvement of contract templates and process documents.
Profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Detail-oriented and strong written communication skills
- Independent worker
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Fluent in English, but any additional language is a plus
- Knowledgeable of MS Office 365
- Previous experience in the clinical research setting or contract administration is a plus
