SWOG and Its Expansion into Latin America

This month’s session, “SWOG and Its Expansion into Latin America,” will feature Dr. Mariana Chavez Mac Gregor from MD Anderson Cancer Center. She will provide an overview of the SWOG Cancer Research Network’s strategic expansion into Latin America, highlighting the history, goals, progress, and impact of the SWOG Latin America Initiative. Dr. Chavez Mac Gregor will emphasize the scientific, clinical, and educational importance of extending SWOG’s collaborative clinical trial network to the region; outline key regulatory, logistical, and resource-related barriers; and discuss future strategies to expand trial access and advance global oncology research.
