This event is organised under the presidency of Her Majesty the Queen Letizia of Spain, honorary president of the Spanish Association Against Cancer and its Scientific Foundation, and in presence of HRH Princess Dina Mired of Jordan, honorary president of EORTC.
To mark the 10th anniversary of World Cancer Research Day (WCRD), leading international voices in cancer research will gather under the theme “Advancing Cancer Research Together” to reflect on today’s challenges and opportunities and help shape the future of cancer research.
EORTC and AECC are proud to co-organise this international public event, held both in person and online.

About World Cancer Research Day
EORTC is a partner in World Cancer Research Day. The day was established through the collaboration of organisations, associations and researchers from around the world.
This initiative was originally designed to contribute to the objectives of the World Cancer Declaration in promoting cancer research and keeping its momentum going. It aims to accomplish the scientific advances that will lead towards achieving the goal that brings us together: to defeat cancer.
