Description
The Thyroid Cancer Group is dedicated to thyroid cancer, collaborating with endocrinologists and oncologists to carry out clinical studies.
Main Achievements
In accordance with the recommendations from the EORTC Scientific Advisory Council (SAC) regarding the need to accurately represent the group’s interests and focus, the EORTC Endocrine Tumour Group (EnTG) will officially be renamed the EORTC Thyroid Cancer Group (TCG) effective 06 November 2024.
This name change aligns with the group’s mission to reduce the impact of thyroid cancer through collaboration with endocrinologists and oncologists in clinical studies.
The group will concentrate on thyroid cancer across various tumor types and stages, addressing diagnostic and staging techniques, translational research, treatment modalities, and quality of life.
